[INSTALLATION]{.underline}
Select the desired location for the remote switch panel, preferably inside the boat. Make sure the location gives you access for running all your wires and that it is close to the 12-volt DC power source.
Note: All installation is to be done [before]{.underline} power is applied to the control box by inserting the fuse.
{width="2.109722222222222in"
height="1.6666666666666667in"}Use a template to make the cutout in the
selected location and cut the hole with a jigsaw. It is recommended that
you protect the surface of the cutout area with tape to avoid scratching
the surrounding surface.
-
3 Gang Switch - Template should be 3" by 1-5/8"
-
5 Gang Switch - Template should be 5" by 1-5/8"

Install switch panel into cutout, predrill pilot hole and screw in place with #6 pan head screws.
Mount the command box in a desired location close to the breaker panel or other power supply terminal and within 3' from the desired switch panel location so that the switch harness will reach the switches.
(note: additional 3 foot harness are available and can be connected together to increase length. The harness wires may also be spliced with 18-gauge wire for a distance up to 40 feet)

Install wiring for the lights, siren, P.I.R. motion sensor, and power according to the wire labels (use your best judgment and always use wiring glands when drilling through watertight membranes).

[Please see attach wire size chart for recommended wire gauges used for different configurations.]{.mark}
- DC current is susceptible to voltage drop over wire distance and therefore must be sized for the distance and power needed on each wire run (please use the attached reference table to determine the recommended wire size for the number and size of lights for your application).
[Note]{.underline}: There is one 16ga / 3 conduit wire labeled "RGB Light Bar" – the system can directly power a total of two 12" light bars [OR]{.underline} one 20" light bar through this wire. If you desire more lights, we can create a custom set up to add as many lights as you would like by using waterproof relay. Please contact us for more information or to discuss other lighting options.

Terminate lights, siren, motion sensor(s), beam break sensors, float switch, smoke detectors and power with the command box and attach them appropriately to the labeled wiring and wire flow chart provided.
The final termination is at your 12-volt DC power source, install a 15A fuse holder or attach to a 15A circuit breaker. It is extremely important to terminate the wiring with all connections per the wire labels.

[Wire recommendations:]{.underline}
[For all Sensors & Siren:]{.underline} (Motion Sensor, Float Sensor, Beam Break Sensor, Smoke/Heat Detector)
-
We recommend using a good, [SHIELDED]{.mark} 22AWG stranded copper core 4 conduit alarm wire for all the sensor installation along with a Type B waterproof connector with sealant.
- Although you will not use all four wires, it is round, PVC insolated, cost effective, and has its length labeled every foot for easy installation.
-
This can be used for the Siren(s) as well (out to 42' of cable length) and can be bundled together (two wires for power and two wires for ground) for using two sirens on the same length of cable.
